Embed-A-Tag mounts flush to poured concrete castings, giving precast and prestressed concrete plants a permanent way to identify panels from the moment of casting through curing, coating, yard stacking, shipping, and final installation. Both man-readable text and machine-readable barcodes can carry cast, job, and section numbers on the same tag, supporting error-free transportation and on-site assembly.
Installation is straightforward: use adhesive to hold the tag on the form during the pour, or insert it manually into wet concrete — curing permanently bonds the tag to the casting. Once set, it mounts flush to the top, facings, or edges of the panel, keeping a low profile that won't interfere with handling or stacking.
Rated to withstand rain, washing, rust, and temperatures up to 1000°F, the tag is tear-resistant and won't fade in sunlight, holding up through the full journey from plant to job site. Available pre-printed by InfoSight or printed on-site using one of InfoSight's laser metal tag printers.
