Shop nowThe MDM1000 is a manual feed dot peen marking machine that stamps text in any Windows font, along with logos and custom graphics, directly onto the surface of a metal tag. It's a cost-effective alternative to traditional stamping and dies, well suited for lower-volume jobs or shops that don't need continuous, automated production.
Being manual feed, each tag is loaded by hand, giving an operator direct control over each piece as it's marked — a good fit for smaller batches, prototyping, or applications where tag layouts change frequently between runs. It marks a wide range of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass, and supports special and country-specific characters alongside standard text and logos.
The MDM1000 can be operated via PC, mainframe (RS232), or offline using a keyboard, and ships with Cancard's included SWORD™ software. For higher-volume, database-driven production, Cancard also carries the fully automatic MDM2000.
