SSL-Tag is a coil-fed, continuous-print stainless steel identification tag built for assets that need to stay identifiable for their entire working life. Unlike silk-screened steel labels, which wear off under real-world conditions, 430 ferric stainless steel construction holds up where labels typically fail, and the bright stainless finish resists most common solvents, cleaners, and weather exposure without needing a protective coating or laminate.
Rated to withstand temperatures up to 1100°F (593°C), moderate acids, caustics, and solvents, plus heavy resistance to weathering and UV fading, SSL-Tag is built for genuinely harsh environments — industrial kitchens, water reclamation, oil and gas production, chemical and electric power plants, and any equipment installed or used outdoors.
Because it's continuous batch printed, there are no ribbons, ink, or cartridges to manage, and tags are immediately usable straight off the roll. Tags are available pre-printed by InfoSight or printed on-site using one of InfoSight's durable laser metal tag printers, giving you flexibility between ordering ready-made tags or producing them in-house.
