The MDM 2000DM is a fully automatic dot peen marking machine built to produce 2D Data Matrix barcode metal tags, giving you a permanent, database-driven marking option where PVC or Mylar barcode tags fall short. Standard barcode tags need regular replacement due to environmental wear, which adds cost and creates identification errors over time — the MDM 2000DM's metal tags are built to outlast that cycle.
It's also a practical alternative for parts and components where direct marking isn't feasible: where it would affect mechanical integrity, is too difficult or costly to achieve with a laser, or would slow down production too much to be worthwhile. Automatic feed keeps the unit running through continuous batches, and an LCD edit function lets operators adjust tag data directly at the machine.
Ships with Powertag Lite software included for barcode and layout management. Available through Cancard with quoting, delivery, and service support across Canada and the US.
