The ME1000S DM is a manual-feed electronic embosser built to mark alphanumeric characters and 2D Data Matrix barcodes on a range of aluminum and steel tag sizes. The 2D Data Matrix format lets you pack a high volume of scannable data into a limited amount of tag space, useful anywhere detailed record data needs to travel with the part but marking room is tight.
Manual feed puts the operator in direct control of loading and positioning each tag, making it a strong fit for lower-volume runs or jobs where tag size and layout change frequently — a practical alternative to the fully automatic ME2000S DM for facilities that don't need continuous production.
A built-in 7" WVGA color touchscreen with simple icon-based navigation keeps day-to-day operation straightforward, and the ME1000S DM supports IoT remote access and management entirely over the web or via VNC. It connects via USB (type A, type B), Ethernet, or WiFi to a PC, keyboard, barcode reader, or other device as your workflow requires, and data import/export runs over Ethernet using FTP for updates without needing someone standing at the machine.
